Bridalvail Falls is the capstone of hard Colorado Ice Climbing and one of the most unique flows in the United States. Those who yearn to test their skills on this route already know its lure. Are you ready to push yourself and your skills to meet the moment of this iconic climb, and can you do it with a SMILE?

    Bridalveil is one of the mega classic ice routes in the US and is considered a capstone route for many alpinists. Long, wild, overhung ice pitches and an adventurous canyon make for a must-do while in town!

  • Bridalveil Falls Itinerary –

    Pre-Group Call-

    Our team will link everyone together via Google Meet or phone call to discuss guest questions, provide clarity on gear, and explain what to expect when you arrive in town.

    In Town Meet Up -

    Guides will meet with guests in town, before the day one program start date to grab boots at Ouray Mountain Sports.

    Day 1 – 5:30 am- Completion

    Meet In Ouray and Carpool to Telluride.

    Baked In Telluride for Breakfast

    1. Fifteen-minute drive to the Canyon.

    2. A forty-five-minute approach to the base of BV.

    3. Climb our objective and descend the route.

Technical Experience

Bridalveil Falls is a capstone ice route for climbers. It requires skills, perseverance, and strength found over a lifetime of climbing. Guests must climb one day in the Ice Park with their guide before attempting this route, or have previous experience with their guide on routes building up to this climb. No exceptions.

Fitness

Technical ice experience on WI5, and previous ice days of the current season, are required to be in shape for this route.
