Alex keimel

Alex grew up on the East Coast near a small ski resort in New Jersey, where weekend trips to Vermont and countless days on the hill sparked a lifelong love for skiing. In 2014, he moved to Summit County, Colorado, in search of bigger mountains and deeper snow. There he discovered climbing and quickly developed a passion for the craft.

Since then, Alex has pursued both skiing and climbing extensively, from the Rockies to the ranges of Alaska. He earned a degree in Outdoor Education from Colorado Mountain College in 2021, participated in the Avalanche Science Program, and holds a Level 1 Professional Avalanche Certification.

As a guide, Alex is dedicated to sharing his passion for the mountains, fostering both skill and confidence in his guests. He designs adventures for everyone and year-after-year, people come back to share in another mountain memory. Alex strives to keep learning, teaching, and connecting with others—always looking forward to the next adventure.
